Reports and project types

HİDROJEOTEK transforms hydrogeology, hydrology, numerical modeling and geoinformatics expertise into technical reports, modeling studies, mapping outputs and decision-support documents according to project requirements.

How is the study scope defined?

The headings below indicate the types of studies that may be prepared for authority review, EIA/project description processes, nature conservation authority assessments, infrastructure, energy, mining, water resources, wetland, surface runoff, flood, erosion and spatial decision-support projects. The scope is structured according to project type, authority requirements, site conditions, available data and expected technical output. Components requiring ecology, flora-fauna, hydrobiology, fisheries or landscape expertise are addressed with relevant expert contribution, while the hydrological, hydrogeological, geomorphological and spatial analysis components are coordinated by HİDROJEOTEK.

Study Selection

Which study is needed in which situation?

An authority letter, EIA process or project design requirement may not directly correspond to a single report title. Therefore, the study scope is clarified through a preliminary assessment.

Authority Request

When an official letter or authority review exists

The requested technical topic, authority expectations and required report scope are evaluated together.

Project Type

For energy, mining, infrastructure or water projects

Typical water, drainage, modeling, flood and environmental impact needs of the sector are considered.

Data Availability

When available data is limited

The need for field data, observations, public datasets, maps, satellite data or modeling is defined.

Technical Output

When a report, model or map is required

The study output is structured as a traceable technical document that can support decision-making.

Abbreviations and Technical Terms

You may review short explanations of frequently used abbreviations and technical terms such as water authority review, EIA, solar power projects, GIS, groundwater, gauging stations, aquifer, water balance, streamflow transposition, flood analysis and dewatering.
